Good Roads Movement
Putting the Gospel on good roads
From the ancient Roman roads that crisscrossed an empire to the modern interstate highways that stretch across our nation today–we have always been connected by good roads.
These roads were built with a purpose: for the Romans, it was to expand and secure their empire, and for us, it was to connect a growing nation. But here’s the powerful connection: those same Roman roads, initially designed for military campaigns, became the very pathways the Apostle Paul used to spread the gospel.
In the same way, our modern highways, though built for strategic reasons, have unintentionally woven people together across vast distances.
This series dives deep into how these “good roads” are symbolic of the ways God creates pathways to carry His Gospel, overcoming obstacles and bridging gaps—both physically and spiritually.
God’s plan involves not just traveling good roads but creating good roads and being a part of the gospel reaching every corner of the world.
